Box braids are probably one of the most popular braided hairstyles, mainly due to being super stylish, but they also give the hair a welcome break. Natural hair, over-manipulated, can get damaged. A protective style like box braids can protect it.
Over the last few years, some of our favourite celebrities have made box braids their go-to hair style for red carpets or social media appearances with It girls like Coi Leray, Rihanna, Zoë Kravitz, and Zendaya all rocking the protective style.

Box Braids
Box Braids are single plaits which can be done on your own hair using extensions to make the hair longer. Extensions can be added to your natural hair in any colour (including Ombre) to enhance your look. It will take between 4 to 8 hours to complete the look but timings for your own hair would be given on consultation.
Box Braids look fantastic and are really low maintenance so are they particularly great for holidays or festivals. Box braids are also really good for if you are wanting to grow your hair.

Crochet Braids
Crochet braids, also known as latch hook braids, are techniques for braiding hair that involve crocheting synthetic hair extensions to a person's natural hair with a latch hook or crochet hook.
While crochet braids are a hybrid of traditional braids, they're considered to be more similar to weaves. This method is associated with African hair styles. Known as a protective style, the technique can assist with hair growth if cared for properly. Crochet braids can be worn straight, curly, twisted, or braided.
